Today Microsoft has made a new Office 365 subscription plan available. It’s called Office 365 Personal, and it’s the cheapest one yet. It’s available for $70 per year, or $7 per month. According to the press release, “An Office 365 Personal subscription allows for one PC or Mac, and one tablet (including iPad) to be connected to the service, and is the best option for individuals interested in using Office 365.”
Previously, the cheapest plan was Office Home, which cost $10 per month, but allows up to five computers and tablets to use Office.
One newer bonus for subscribers to any Office 365 plan is that they can use the iPad version of Office to its full potential. The apps are free to download, but unless you subscribe to Office 365, you can’t edit your documents. Subscribing to any Office 365 plan enables the editing feature.
