Satya Nadalla might have taken the reins as CEO of Microsoft earlier this year, but co-founder Bill Gates isn’t done with the company. He’s still on the board of directors, and he’s still working on improving its products — specifically, Microsoft Office.
In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Mr. Gates said that Microsoft should be making Office “dramatically better.” Unfortunately he doesn’t go into exactly what that entails, but he does say, “That’s the kind of thing that I’m trying to make sure they move fast on.”
Certainly the company has made strides since Nadella took the top position, with Gates in an advisory role. Office has been released for iPad, Office 365 has been expanded, and Windows 10 has been unveiled. It will be interesting to see how the apps continue to improve.
