Control Presentations from Your Android Phone

Good news, Android owners. Thanks to the release of Microsoft’s Office Remote for Android, you can now control PowerPoint presentations from your phone. All you need is an Android device (duh) and Office 2013.

Among other things, Office Remote lets you change slides, view your presentation notes, and use the “laser-point” on the slides as you deliver your presentations. The app also lets you do certain things in Word and Excel, although those may come in less handy for typical use.

Prior to this, you had to have a Windows phone to use the app, which didn’t help the legions of Android users out there.

You can download the free app here.
