Microsoft has a vast number of apps, but most of them keep to their own fenced-in areas. Two of Microsoft’s biggest apps just got some neat integration on iOS. The iOS Skype app, which offers audio and video communication, just got native Office support. That means you can now share and receive Office documents during Skype calls.
With native support for Office documents enabled on the iPhone and iPad, users can download files by just tapping them, and it will take you to the App Store to download the relevant Office app if you do not have it installed. Skype for Android actually got this feature in January.
